1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the New Leaf platform at www.newleafins.org (the "Platform"), operated by New Leaf Ins Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "the Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Account Terms

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or when your institution registers you on the Platform.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Do not share your password or OTP with others.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform independently.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Digital Products & Licenses

Products purchased through our marketplace (mock tests, study materials, assessment packages) are licensed for your personal, non-transferable use only. You may not:

• Share, resell, or redistribute purchased content to third parties
• Copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content
• Use automated tools to scrape, download, or extract platform content
• Transfer your license or account access to another person

4. Exam Conduct & Integrity

When taking assessments on our Platform, you agree to:

• Complete all assessments independently unless group work is explicitly permitted
• Not use unauthorized materials, devices, or assistance during proctored exams
• Comply with all proctoring requirements including fullscreen mode, tab switch monitoring, and device restrictions
• Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security and proctoring features
• Accept that your exam may be automatically submitted if violations are detected

Violation of exam integrity rules may result in exam invalidation, account suspension, or reporting to your institution.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including exam questions, study materials, grading algorithms, software, branding, and design — is the intellectual property of New Leaf Ins Pvt Ltd or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content is strictly prohibited.

Content created by you (such as exam answers and code submissions) remains yours, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it for grading, analytics, and platform improvement.

6. AI-Powered Services

Our Platform uses AI models for automated grading, feedback, and performance analytics. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated evaluations are supplementary and may be reviewed or overridden by faculty. We do not guarantee that AI assessments will be error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months.
• We are not responsible for service interruptions due to force majeure events, internet outages, or third-party service failures.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karur, Tamil Nadu, India.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
